As the lead singer of Glass of Hearts, a Blondie tribute band, a co-lead vocalist in Band After Midnight, an ABBA tribute act, and one of the featured vocalists for the high-energy party band Bridgetown Get Down, she demonstrates remarkable versatility across genres, combining theatrical stage presence with polished musicianship. Whether teaching, creating digital content, or entertaining audiences, Liz is energetic, expressive, collaborative, and deeply committed to helping people connect through music and storytelling.

Who is Liz??

Liz Ghiz is an imaginative educator, accomplished vocalist, and engaging performer who seamlessly blends creativity with communication. With a background in education, she brings the same clarity and enthusiasm to the classroom that she brings to the stage. 

original liz: Solo project

This project is one I've dreamt of for years and it's been a truly whimsical adventure that only requires me to be authentic, and follow my bliss.
Bringing peers together to assist me in executing my vision has been a thrill I hadn't anticipated, and it might be my favorite part of the whole process. I'm collaborating and connecting with many friends in intersecting social circles to produce my first EP.

3 original tracks + 1 cover inspired by human angst, nostalgic production, and showing off, frankly. I'm enjoying myself here. With much help from Portland producer & multi-instrumentalist Dakota Theim, we present:

Formed by guitarist Matt Bradley in 2014 to fulfill a local need and a desire to play some of the greatest music put onto vinyl, Glass of Hearts started small and has been building a powerhouse ever since. Over the years they've added a number of quality players from the local music scene of Portland, Oregon, including Liz Ghiz, a vocalist with pitch perfect vocal control and raw energy to match.

Together they've built a look and sound to give you the show you missed from Blondie's first time around. Combining all the hits with deep cuts and a few surprises, Glass of Hearts prides themselves on a tight, polished, energetic show for fans and casual listeners alike. Glass of Hearts will bring the music, you just need to bring your dancing shoes and a positive attitude.

This band features some of the Pacific Northwest’s best talent, and they bring the party every time they step on stage.
